We sought to “create an environment where children would want to come for treatment.”
Based on clinical data and practical insights, we pursued safety-conscious features that accommodate children’s unpredictable movements, a layout allowing parents to easily observe, and intuitive operability for dental professionals.
The PEDISIA is a unit that overcomes each individual challenge and that is replete with peace of mind and reliability.

The integrated chair that can fully recline limits the risk of pinching and ensures smooth dental care

The integrated chair that can fully recline is designed to reduce the risk of pinching.
The chair is designed to avoid pinching. If pinching were to somehow occur, a safety device that reverses the chair’s movement is activated.
There is no gap between the backrest and the seat, making the chair easy to clean.

The unit can be used in various ways in accordance with the form of treatment provided, thus reducing the burden on staff

Separating the movement pathways between the doctor area and the patient (parent) area creates a layout that helps keep medical equipment out of easy reach.
In addition, the handpiece holder can widely move to the left and right, enabling flexible treatment.

A movable cuspidor facilitates treatment that is easy on both the child and the dental hygienist.

The unit has a movable cuspidor to ensure that there is sufficient space for handpieces and instrument use.
The movable cuspidor is designed to allow children to rinse their mouths out and to enable parents to keep a close eye on them.

A dental unit featuring a low minimum chair height of 430 mm, designed to accommodate pediatric dental care.

The chair can be lowered to 430 mm and is designed to allow small children to sit down in and stand up from it.
Moreover, the chair can be raised to 700 mm, allowing comfortable treatment, regardless of the form of treatment provided by the dentist.
For children who have difficulty sitting down in and standing up from the chair in its lowest position, a step stool is available as an option.
