Maintenance and inspection
Amendment of the Medical Care Act on April 1, 2007 mandated that safety supervisors at medical facilities independently oversee the maintenance and inspection of medical devices.
OSADA has created Checklists for Independent Oversight of Maintenance and Inspection to serve as a reference for the independent overseeing of maintenance and inspections at medical facilities.
These checklists were created assuming that the independent oversight of maintenance and inspections would be conducted three times a year, so please use them as a reference.
